{mosimage}Soil scientists and landscape architects were part of the team that conducted an environmental restoration and award winning design for the Great Lawn in Central Park, New York City. They designed the largest know urban stormwater bioretention system which occupies 24-acres in the heart of Central Park. Eight ball fields and lawn were build over the bioretention system. The Great Lawn serves as the primarily outdoor concert venue in the Borough of Manhattan.
